This is a complete Electronic Ignition kit designed for Standard or Mild tuned engines with a Single Carb. The Cap Supplied has been specially selected as a near perfect fit on the distributor body to maximise timing accuracy and rotor arm centricity.

The kit uses a genuine Bosch distributor refurbished to the highest standard. The advance is set for standard or mild tune.

The distributor retains the Vacuum capsule. The electronics are high quality parts expected to give 30 years trouble free motoring.

Wiring connections are simple, your old coil positive goes to the red wire and the black screws to earth. The white wire is for an electronic tacho, Mk1 escort has separate rev counter instructions.

IMPORTANT: This system requires a 12v feed for the coil, if your car is fitted with a Ballast Resistor (or Resistance Wire) this will need to be removed as it will drop the Voltage to 6v - 8v.

As a Special Order, the kit can be supplied with more or less distributor centrifugal advance, this may take a day or two longer to despatch - please ask.
