The first teleconverter for E-mount lenses

This high-performance teleconverter doubles the focal length of the lens (SEL20TC). It features a simple shape that blends seamlessly with the lens and a knurled design for easy attachment and removal. It is also designed with dust and moisture resistance in mind—matching the standards of the camera body and lens*1. It maintains the rendering performance of the master lens to deliver high-contrast images. While it results in a two-stop reduction in light, it achieves high-precision, high-speed autofocus performance comparable to that of the lens itself. It also supports the recording of Exif data (information regarding camera settings and shooting date/time)*2.
