Up for sale is a matched pair of vintage Gibson patent-number humbuckers, both stamped “PAT NO 2,737,842” on the baseplates.

These came from an older guitar/parts collection and appear to be authentic vintage Gibson pickups from the late 1960s to early 1970s era.

Condition:
These pickups show honest vintage wear, oxidation, scratches, and aging consistent with old Gibson parts. The covers and baseplates have not been polished or restored. The solder joints appear untouched and the pickups have not been opened while in my possession.

The low and closely matched resistance readings suggest these may be early patent-number pickups or transition-era examples rather than later hotter versions, though I am not making any guarantees regarding exact year or internal construction.
