Reproduction Oval Shape: The elongated oval knob is typical of the late 18th-century Neoclassical revival popularized by the architects Robert and James Adam. 

Central Relief Motif: The face of the knob features an embossed classical design resembling a stylized urn, anthemion (palmette), or fleur-de-lis pattern. 

Beaded/Milled Edging: A distinct beaded border trims both the outer rim of the oval knob and the circumference of the circular rose (the backplate). 

Baluster Stem: The connecting neck or stem has a decorative, ringed profile common to period hardware. 

The finish is highly polished, unlacquered brass. This style was exceptionally popular during the late Georgian era and later saw major revivals during the Victorian and Edwardian periods.
