You are bidding on a vintage Wear-Ever No. 138 aluminum hinged/folding frying pan/skillet. (NOTE: The skillet is aluminum, but the handle is some kind of steel; I tested with a magnet.) It looks like it would be most useful for camping/outdoor cooking. It is stamped 'PAT. SEPT.9, 1913' (see pics). It measures about 11.5" across, lip-to-lip, at the widest point. Judging from various scratches, this was probably used, but it couldn't have been much. It is really in very good condition, though the steel handle is a bit tarnished from age.
