You are bidding on a PACK, FIELD, CARGO, M-45 dated 1951. It was made by the American Awning & Canvas Co., stock no. 74-P-12-252. The metal strap-tips have some corrosion, but I think that's just oxidation from age. This is in excellent condition, with amazingly clean instructions attached (see pics). This pack may never have been used, but if it was, it wasn't much. If I were younger I would be tempted to actually employ this as a book bag or something, but it's really too nice to use.
