Marine Installation & Warranty Info
Marine MPI fuel injector replacement procedure. Relieve boat fuel system pressure before disassembly, disconnect marine battery to avoid electrical short circuits, remove engine cover and air intake assembly, unbolt marine fuel rail assembly, pull rail upward to separate injectors from intake manifold, remove old injectors and fully clean residual gasket/oil residue, lubricate new included marine-grade O-rings with clean marine engine oil, press new 805225A1 injectors fully onto fuel rail seats until locked flush, reinstall fuel rail and torque mounting bolts to OEM low torque spec evenly to prevent vacuum/fuel leaks, reconnect fuel supply lines and battery, cycle ignition ON/OFF multiple times to prime marine fuel system, start engine and warm up fully, clear V8 misfire fault codes P0300-P0308 with marine compatible OBD scanner after installation, test idle stability and full throttle power under AC/heavy load conditions, inspect injector rail base for fuel leakage after 10 minutes idle running on water.
