Up for sale is a beautiful antique pocket watch chain from the early 20th century (circa 1900-1910s). This is a Short Albert or Leontine style chain, featuring a highly desirable fancy link design with structured, rounded rectangular panels.
The chain is made of high-quality gold filled metal (Am. Charnier / rolled gold). It comes complete with its original hardware, including a fully functional T-bar/dog clip clasp on one end and a large bolt ring (spring ring) with decorative lugs on the other.
Specifications:
- Total length: 25.5 cm
- Style: Fancy Link / Short Albert / Leontine
- Material: Gold filled / Rolled gold
- Condition: Antique, used condition. The spring mechanisms on both the dog clip and bolt ring work perfectly. There is honest, age-related wear to the gold layer on the high points and edges, showing the base metal underneath, which adds great authentic character to this antique piece.
