The ECC83, known in America as the 12AX7, is the most widely used preamplifier dual triode ever made: a high-gain (mu 100) twin triode on the 9-pin noval base, found in countless hi-fi and guitar amplifiers. This pair was made by Philips at its Heerlen plant in the Netherlands, as shown by the 𝜕 etched code. They are honest used tubes, tested individually, and as the figures show one is in stronger shape than the other - offered accordingly as a usable pair.
