Antique German 800 Silver Jewish Kiddush Wine Goblet

A beautiful antique German Jewish Kiddush cup crafted in 800 silver, finely hand chased and hand engraved with traditional Jewish motifs and Hebrew inscription.

The cup is decorated with elegant grapevine and grape motifs, symbolizing the sanctity of wine in Jewish ritual and the blessing over the fruit of the vine. The body bears the Hebrew inscription:

“זכור את יום השבת לקדשו”

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8)

The cup is marked with a crown and citrus hallmark together with an 800 silver fineness mark, indicating German silver manufacture.
