EMO PHASE graphic T shirt punk comedy Y2K scene Shannon Taylor music quote S
This is a previously-owned, adult-small (S), black short-sleeve T shirt featuring the text "Emo Is Only A Phase If You Suck At It" spelled out in a combination of stark white lettering and distressed, scratchy red fonts with a bleeding paint texture. Manufactured by Represent circa 2015 (100% cotton), it measures approximately 18 inches from underarm seam to underarm seam and about 26 inches from back collar to bottom.
The creator behind the shirt, Shannon Taylor (known online as “heythereimshannon”), gained massive prominence across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok during the mid-2010s internet "scene" subculture boom. She became widely recognized for her signature colorful split-dyed hair, dramatic makeup tutorials, and collaborative presence in popular digital alternative groups like MyDigitalEscape.
