This service has already changed in a lot of areas to every other day delivery and no saturday deliveries 

In theory at worst if posted wednesday it could take until Monday for the next delivery slot.  However some deliveries may not be affected depends if it lands on a 2 day delivery week or 3 as they will alternate.
