A scarce public service sign issued by the PA Roadside Council.

Back in the day (1950/60’s) these were affixed to utility poles all across the state and were a familiar sight for several years.
The sign shows off the original rendition of the famed Litterbug. The character has been softened up considerably in more recent years, His roughness is part of the charm of the original design.
Made of lightweight poster-board the sign measures a large 11” wide by 15” tall.

The sign is unused and is very clean with no damage. There is a small penciled notation in a corner on the rear side.

This sign came from a small pile of old stock that I had bought many years ago and forgot that I had any left.

Remember, we sell vintage and antique items and even un-used items can be prone to the effects of aging.
