This is a unique and rare vintage ornament from Bradford Novelty Co., Inc.  It features Santa sitting in the cockpit of a spaceship.  The red and green spaceship is decorated with white stars and has a silver colored rocket booster.  Santa is waving and poised at a control panel.  When you push the gold button, you get a 3, 2, 1 count down with blast off noises and Santa says "Merry Christmas Houston".  There is a small red light that flashes just below Santa's waving hand.  It has a gold cord attached to the top for easy hanging or can sit on it's own as a free standing figurine.  It measures approximately 2 3/4 inches tall and is about 2 1/2 inches long/wide.  It is marked "©1999 B.M.C.I  MADE IN CHINA".  Not sure why it is BMCI and not BNCI.  Possibly a misprint.  Runs on three small button style batteries.  Ornament is in good vintage pre-owned condition.  Lights and sounds still work.  Please see video.  Light surface wear is present consistent with age and years of use/display.  Please review and enlarge all photos for additional details, views and measurements.  Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage.
