Finely struck 1 1/2" bronze finish /enamel flash shaped challenge coin for the US Army 3rd Bn 7th SFG Special Forces Group. 3/7 was started up when the 8th Special Forces Group in Panama was disbanded. It formed the nucleus of the new 3rd Battalion 7th Special Forces Group.
