This is a OEM steering gear box rack and pinion assembly. This fits the 4.4 BMW engine. It didn't make any noise when it was mounted and turns smoothly with no catching or bad spots  There are no leaks and all the splines are clean. The tie rod ends are in good shape with no signs of damage or cross threading.
