This is an opportunity to own the  very rare 1966 Soccer World Cup Chess set made by Studio Anne Carlton in England.

All 32 pieces are in like new condition and were purchased in London England by the original owner who had this set for years.  I acquired it in like new condition and kept it in my display cabinet behind glass , so its just the way it was years ago.

The pieces themselves as you know are made of stone resin ( marble and resin) , making it a massive and heavy collectible.  The King stands at 6 inches tall and Bishops at 5 inches.

No board is included,  but it will come with the original presentation box and COA paperwork. .

In addition to the 32 pieces,  you'll also receive a copy of the 1966 Matchday program, - with no writing or missing pages, and in excellent condition.

Additionally,  there's another piece of literature coming in the deal . Its a book about chess and football ( soccer)

Its value is unknown,  but nonetheless,  this is part of the bundle.

As to the history itself,  SAC designed this high- quality World Cup Football/Soccer chess set as a commemoration of England's victory over West Germany in 1966 at Wemblev Stadium.  Again, this is a rare and collectible item that offers a unique piece of history from the World Cup championships.

If you're reading this listing act quickly because I'm only listing it for the duration of the Cup finals going on right now.  The 2026 FIFA World Cup (soccer) concludes on July 19, 2026, with the final match at MetLife Stadium, and so if the set hasn't found a new home by this date , the listing will come down and it will not be available.

Shipping will be fast and packaging will be with excellent care , (individually wrapped pieces)

Reasonable Offers accepted.  Good luck !
