This “Buy it Now” offering is for an original vintage 1974 Chicago Cubs pocket schedule. During the off-season, the Cubs traded away Hall of Fame pitcher Ferguson Jenkins and acquired rookie third baseman Bill Madlock from the Texas Rangers. The 23-year-old Madlock hit .313, fifth best in the NL. The team still featured future Hall of Famer, Billy Williams now 36-years-old and in his 16th year as a Chicago Cub, filling a utility role. Williams hit .280 with 16 homers and 68 RBI. It would be his final year with the Cubs as he was traded to Oakland after the season. The Cubs center fielder, Rick Monday hit .294 and led the team with 20 home runs and right fielder Jose Cardenal hit .293 with 13 homers and 72 RBI. The Cubs finished last in the National League East with a record of 66-96.
