A striking, heavy pair of vintage, Brutalist, asymmetrical, heavy, geometric cufflinks
About This Piece: Vintage, heavy, 1960s-1970s mid-century modernist, crafted in classic, heavy Brutalist architectural style. Sharp, asymmetrical geometric shapes layered on top of one another. Based on deep golden-brown coloring and weight (over an ounce), these are cast from solid base metal, likely solid bronze or heavy brass. Unmarked. With this art, I assume this is an artisan studio-crated piece. Something feels quite different about it.
About the Maker: no maker's mark.
Personal Note: I was an active online seller from 2003 to 2012, focusing on books. Along the way I discovered a passion for vintage cufflinks. While living in Southern California, I created a personal collection of more than 4,000 pairs, primarily mid-century costume jewelry found up-and-down the West Coast. After a hiatus from 2012 to 2026, I'm back to selling online again. Almost all of the cufflinks I'm listing have been in my collection since before 2010, and this is the first time they're offered online. Thanks for looking! Jimmy
