Effective treatment for iron deficiency anaemia

Suitable for adults and adolescents over 12 years (when prescribed/recommended)

Adults: One tablet two to three times daily, or as directed by a doctor/pharmacist
Tablets should be swallowed whole with water, preferably on an empty stomach
Do not exceed the stated dose without medical advice
You are allergic to ferrous fumarate or any other ingredients
You have conditions such as haemochromatosis, haemolytic anaemia, or other iron overload disorders
You have repeated blood transfusions
You are under 12 years of age
You are taking high-dose iron from another source
May cause constipation, stomach upset, or dark stools
Iron supplements should be kept out of reach of children – accidental overdose is dangerous
