Offered is a lot of sixteen original vintage paper cocktail napkins featuring the official Apollo 16 mission insignia.
Apollo 16 launched on April 16, 1972, and carried astronauts:
* John Young * Thomas K. Mattingly II * Charles M. Duke Jr.
The colorful mission emblem features a bald eagle above a shield inspired by the Great Seal of the United States, with the crew names displayed around the border.
These napkins are original Apollo-era souvenir items and would make an excellent addition to any NASA, Apollo, aerospace, or space exploration collection.
Provenance
These napkins come from the estate of my parents, both of whom worked for North American Aviation (later North American Rockwell) during the Apollo era. My father was an engineer supporting Apollo program projects, and my mother worked in customer relations. The napkins remained in our family’s collection for more than 50 years and are being offered as part of a larger group of Apollo-era memorabilia preserved by the family.
