In the photos I took the dial has a blue color to it. The color changes with the angle you are viewing it & lighting. See the photos to get a sense of the different colors. It is hard for me to describe but in my opinion it is a nice feature of the Watch. In photo# 2 you can see a slight mix of blue & pink near the top of the dial.

The Watch Band opens & closes normally.
