This estate lot includes two examples from 1976 and two examples from 1983, all minted under the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Design Details
- Obverse Side: Each coin features the elegant, right-facing second portrait (Arnold Machin bust) of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a jeweled tiara, surrounded by the crisp inscription "ELIZABETH II D • G • REGINA".
- Reverse Side: Features the classic Voyageur design by Emanuel Hahn, depicting a French-Canadian voyageur and an Indigenous guide paddling a birch-bark canoe through northern waters past a wind-swept pine island. Faint northern lights (aurora borealis) lines fill the background sky. Struck with "CANADA" at the top, "DOLLAR" at the left, and the respective 1976 or 1983 year dates.
