The Ibanez AF84E in Dark Violin Sunburst is a full-hollow Artcore archtop with a laminated spruce top, flamed maple back and sides, and a single Venetian cutaway. It features a set-in 3-piece maple/mahogany neck, a 22-fret bound rosewood fingerboard with abalone block inlays, and a floating mini-humbucker paired with a wooden ART-W bridge and trapeze tailpiece. A limited-run model from 2005, it delivers warm, woody jazz-box tone and elegant vintage looks in a comfortable, lightweight body.

The Ibanez AF84E-DVS is 6 lbs 2.8 oz (2.8kg) and in very good condition with excellent playability, professionally set up and ready to play right out of the case. There are a few minor scratches, dents but in our assessment none of them affect playability or sound. The back of the body shows some slight rippling, but this is not damage and should have no impact on play or tone. The included case is a generic one, but it's solidly built and protective. The instrument has been given a top-quality professional setup and currently holds a comfortably low action, easily handling fast, demanding chord changes—7th chords and beyond—as you'd want for jazz and similar styles.
