Antique Mandolin made by Pietro Antonelli e Figloi c.1900–1915 Napoli


A beautiful and authentic Italian Neapolitan bowl-back mandolin constructed in the atelier of Pietro Antonelli e Figloi, Naples, 

This is a genuine early 20th-century export instrument from the golden age of Italian mandolin making.

The original interior label reads:

“Pietro Antonelli e Figloi Fabbricanti di Mandolini, Mandole, Luiti – Napoli”

Condition: to be sold as found, please view all pictures provided - i assume there will be some need for repair i have noticed a small screw to rear plate missing, the case lid is loose, string will obviously need replacing, some scuffing to rear bowl slight damp smell to case from storage, the sound it produces sounds ok to me but i am no expert.
