Description
From Omega comes the Speedmaster Mark IV, also known among collectors as Mark 4.5 - presented in the mid-1970s as a logical further development of the legendary Speedmaster line. It was created at a time when Omega combined technical innovation with a confident, futuristic design. The distinctive case, clear functionality and proximity to the classic Moonwatch give it a special position within Speedmaster history and make it a contemporary witness to an exciting period of upheaval in watchmaking.
But the Speedmaster Mark 4.5 is much more than a vintage icon. Inside works a powerful automatic chronograph that stands for precision, robustness and everyday usability. It combines technical complexity with an independent character and is aimed at lovers of classic chronographs with demands on history and substance. A link between the traditional Moonwatch and later Speedmaster generations, it embodies vintage charm, mechanical sophistication, and iconic design—a timepiece with soul, presence, and lasting collectible value.
