According to its authentic and detailed colophon page, this exceptional edition was officially licensed and published in Istanbul during the very first months of Sultan V. Mehmed Reşad's reign, precisely dated 27 Rebi'ül-âhir 1327 Hijri (approx. May 1909 CE).

-Language Heritage: The sacred text of the Holy Quran is written in its original, clear Classical Arabic with red vocalization marks. The historical publishing certificates and colophon notes on the final page are written in Ottoman Turkish.

Gilt Illuminated Frontispiece: Only the first two opening pages (Surah Al-Fatiha and the beginning of Surah Al-Baqarah) feature a spectacular, fully colored and gold-toned illuminated border (traditionally called Serlevha) as seen in photos. All subsequent internal pages follow a traditional, clean black and red printed text layout. Please note that there is a minor, historical wear/damage near the inner gutter/center of this first page. This minor blemish does NOT obstruct or affect the readability of the holy text in any way.
-Binding & Restoration Status: Encased in a hardcover binding featuring traditional Ottoman geometric embossed decorations and a protective flap (Miklepli). Please note that this binding is NOT original to the book; it has undergone a historical period repair/re-binding. To reinforce and support the heavy cover and spine from the inside, newer structural endpapers have been neatly added to both the very beginning and the end of the book during this restoration process.
-Interior Text Block: Aside from the noted binding stabilization and the first page wear, the text block remains tight, solid, and exceptionally clean for its age, showcasing natural time-toning and light antique foxing that certifies its century-old heritage.
