Description: Striking and highly detailed fine unusual original lithographic Certificate of Masonic Affiliation issued by the Grand Lodge of Scotland.
 
The document certifies that Brother John Edwards is a Master Mason affiliated with St. Andrew Lodge No. 966.
 
It includes traditional heraldic elements, such as the Grand Lodge seal and depictions of unicorns, common symbols in this context.
 
It bears a registration date of May 5, 1951, and the signature of Grand Secretary Alex F. Buchan.
 
The Grand Lodge of Antient Free and Accepted Masons of Scotland is the governing body of Freemasonry in Scotland and of Scottish Lodges in 40 counties other than Scotland. It was founded in 1736. About one-third of Scotland's lodges were represented at the founding meeting of the Grand Lodge.
