This historical lot of 43 vintage newspapers are from July and August 1969.
The collection features issues from both The Indianapolis Star (morning) and The Indianapolis News (evening).
The highlight of this lot is an incredible daily run covering the Apollo 11 Moon Landing mission from launch to splashdown (July 16–25). It offers a fascinating, day-by-day look at how Indiana experienced one of humanity's greatest achievements.

These papers are over 50 years old and show normal aging and yellowing. Please note that not every issue is a complete multi-section newspaper; several are partial papers or main news sections only. They are still perfect for reading, history projects, or framing the historic front pages. The July 30 evening paper has a notable tear, and others have minor tears and wear.
Please see photos for a closer look at the overall condition. Feel free to reach out if you would like more pictures of specific papers.
This is an amazing piece of history, and I had a lot of fun sorting them by date and reading them in preparation to listing. :)
Thanks for stopping by!
