Description:

Rare original 1972 UK one-sided white label test pressing of Mary Had A Little Lamb by Paul McCartney & Wings.

An especially unusual and archive-style Apple test pressing example with no catalogue number present on the labels and only minimal machine-stamped runout information visible.

Side A runout appears to contain only the stamped numeral “1”, while the blank reverse side contains the machine-stamped markings “LPFB” together with “18”.

The disc features the characteristic serrated/textured edge around the centre label area often seen on vintage UK EMI/Apple test pressings.

The vinyl is in solid excellent condition overall with only a few faint surface lines visible under strong light.

Playback is excellent throughout with only occasional traces of very light background crackle in places.

Very little spindle wear visible, indicating minimal previous handling/play.

A highly collectible and rather mysterious early-1970s UK Apple test pressing with particularly strong appeal to Beatles, McCartney and EMI archive collectors.

Will be sent carefully packed in a strong protective mailer.
