PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Add authentic steam-era detail to your HO scale engine servicing facility with the Walthers Cornerstone Cinder Conveyor & Ash Pit. Based on a Fairbanks-Morse design introduced in the late 1920s, conveyors like this cleaned out locomotive ash pans and hauled the cinders up to a waiting hopper or gondola — a must-have at any busy steam terminal. The kit builds into a compact, highly detailed scene with a steel tower, machinery shed, positionable dump chute and bucket, and a complete under-track ash pit.
Features
- Detailed steel tower, machinery shed, and under-track ash pit
- Positionable dump chute and bucket for a custom scene
- Complete under-track pit (7/8" deep below the rails) for added realism
- Decal signs included; molded in appropriate colors to minimize painting
- Based on a North American Fairbanks-Morse prototype from the late 1920s
- Compact footprint packs maximum detail into minimum space

Squeaky’s Trains & Things LLC was founded in December of 2019. It was started by our family that has been in love with everything, trains large and small, driven by creativity since we were born. We grew up playing with model trains and watching, learning about and studying different aspects of magnificent locomotives on a daily basis and today we still do.
It also has helped us get through rough times while dealing with being diagnosed on the autism spectrum. Trains and creativity have always helped calm our daily lives while also becoming self-taught on making designs and artwork.
With this our family activity that grew into a really big hobby! We realized local train stores were barely available and we also wanted to start offering other model railroading fans our self-made creations for their enjoyment. We want to help the community around us by providing model railroad supplies and continue the legend of the greatest hobby on earth, model trains and railroading!
