Up for sale is an authentic Vintage 1983 Mattel Talking Grumpy Garfield Pull-String Plush Toy.

This classic retro plush features Garfield in his iconic red ribbed turtleneck sweater. It is in very good cosmetic shape for its age and makes an excellent addition to any vintage toy or 80s cartoon collection.

Condition Details:

• Mechanical Status: WORKING. The pull-string retracts properly, and the animated eyelids move up and down as they should.

• Audio Status: The internal voice box does talk, but the audio playback is somewhat slowed down / distorted due to age (very common for this vintage Mattel mechanism).

• Cosmetic Status: Very good vintage condition. The red sweater and white "Garfield" felt logo patch are clean and intact. Whiskers are present. There are light surface scratches and minor paint wear on the hard plastic eyelids from age and storage. No major stains or rips.
