The Honeywell MS-7ASF Addressable Single-Action Pull Station is a Gamewell-FCI intelligent initiating device designed for installation on the signaling line circuit (SLC) of compatible Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panels. When activated, the station reports its individually assigned address to the control panel.

The MS-7ASF uses single-action pull operation, incorporates a status LED, and includes a key-operated test/reset lock. Honeywell’s current documentation identifies it specifically as the single-action addressable version of the MS-7 Series.

Single-Action Operation

The MS-7ASF is specifically a single-action station. Unlike the MS-7AF double-action version, it does not require a preliminary push action before the handle is pulled.

Activation causes the station’s assigned address to register at the compatible fire alarm control panel, allowing personnel to identify the exact initiating-device location.

Velociti Addressable Communication

The MS-7ASF uses the Velociti communication protocol.

Honeywell states that Velociti devices operate in groups during normal polling. When a device changes status, the panel stops group polling and focuses on that specific device, providing response speeds up to five times faster than earlier designs.

The MS-7ASF is intended specifically for Gamewell-FCI analog addressable fire alarm control panels.

LED Status Indication

The station includes an integral LED in the door.

Normal: LED flashes green

Activated/Alarm: LED lights steady red.

Honeywell notes that only the red LED operates when the connected panel does not operate in Velociti mode.

Key Test & Reset

The MS-7ASF includes a tumbler lock for testing and resetting the station.

The lock is keyed alike with compatible Gamewell-FCI fire alarm control panels and other MS-7 Series pull stations, simplifying service access for authorized personnel.

Once the station has been activated, authorized personnel use the key to open and restore the station before resetting the fire alarm system.

Addressable Fire Alarm Operation

The MS-7ASF is an inherently addressable pull station, so a separate monitor module is not normally required when it is connected to a compatible Gamewell-FCI addressable SLC.

The control panel receives the station’s individual address when it is activated, allowing alarm annunciation to identify the programmed point rather than only a conventional initiating zone.

NY-PLATE: NYC backplate.

After installation, the station should be programmed with its appropriate address and tested to verify activation, LED operation, address reporting, key reset, and normal restoration.
