January 1918 issue of The North American Journal of Homeopathy featuring extensive pneumonia and influenza-era medical content published during the Spanish Flu pandemic and World War I period.

This scarce and fascinating antique medical journal focuses heavily on pneumonia treatment, mortality statistics, serum therapy, public health, and homeopathic medicine during one of the deadliest pandemic eras in modern history. The front cover prominently references mortality comparisons between “regular” and homeopathic treatment methods.

A highly collectible piece of early 20th century medical and pandemic history with strong display appeal.

Contents include:

medical articles on pneumonia

serum therapy discussions

WWI-era public health concerns

homeopathic medical practices

editorials and medical literature reviews

Condition is fair to good antique condition overall. Interior contents remain intact and complete. Cover has partially separated/come loose from the text block as shown in photos, though staples remain present. Expected age-related wear including edge wear, creasing, toning, small tears, and discoloration from age and storage.

This has a faint odor of cigarettes. I am very sensitive to cigarettes and this one is not real bad, but I do smell it.

An excellent collectible for medical history collectors, pandemic memorabilia collectors, antique ephemera collectors, or anyone interested in the 1918 Spanish Flu era.
