Heathcote China, Best Bone, Made in England.
From the name on the underside it is 1928+
Hand decorated floral design, with blue and gold trim.
In excellent condition with no chips, or cracks or scratches. See photos, and ask for close up pictures of any particular areas you want to see more of. Has been kept in a china cabinet for most if its life, it is a bit dusty, but I did not want to risk my clumsy hands washing it so that will be left to the buyer.
As this is hand decorated, there is going to be lines that aren't quite painted / applied straight as a computer would do - but that is part of its charm and authenticity.
Size are approximate, measured to my best ability:
- Teapot / coffee pot. 123 mm tall without lid, 163 mm tall with lid, 80 mm across outside top, 67 mm outside rim at top, 54 mm inside rim at top, 145mm including handle and spout
- 6 cups. 52 tall, 52 mm across (not including handle)
- 6 saucers. 28 mm tall, 112 mm across
- Creamer / milk jug. 59 mm tall, 63 mm to top of spout. 43 mm across outside top, 3 mm across inside top, 75 mm across including handle and spout
- Sugar bowl. 50 mm tall, 77 mm across.
