• Gasoline engines only. This tachometer cannot measure diesel engines.
• Direct-ignition engines cannot be measured. The unit requires a spark-plug cord to detect ignition pulses.
• Check cylinder count and stroke type. Measurable range is 2-stroke 1–4 cylinders and 4-stroke 1–6 and 8 cylinders. See the compatibility list above.
• Accuracy on 4-stroke 1-cylinder engines is ±20 r/min rather than ±10 r/min.
• Instruction manual is in Japanese. The included manual contains Japanese text.
• The battery is internal and not user-replaceable. Rated battery life is approximately 20,000 hours of use.
