Sorry it was a partly cloudy day when pictures were taken so the color & focus are off in the gallery image. Overall condition is "G" good i'd say. ?'s please ask.

In this auction is:    LOT OF 66 France area 1870s type FERRIER SOULIER?  1880s etc. glass slides

The older FERRIER & SOULIER glass slides from the 1870s used the painted gold & black glass inside many times just like glass stereoviews of theirs. These do not have their labels overall but almost seem like they were the makers. These types that are in this lot I have saved over the years not listing them often here anymore. They have obviously always done well due to the scarcity of them with many coming from the 1870s glass stereoviews from being cut in half or made from those stereoview images the way they did things. In the states we don't see them often nor even in Europe anymore. They overall are in good condition with some broken ones but others on those early lantern slides will need edge tape redone as many had some scotch tape on them holding them together already since they are loose and others being brittle thats is normal on this brand will fall apart by looking at them. 2 need cover glass. A lot of these you would never see again. Over half of these have the gold & black painted glass with many of the others with the blue matt that go into the 1880s and then some other misc. ones. ?'s please ask.
