With crystals up to 5 mm, this is a very good thumbnail specimen of the rare mineral, manganvesuvianite. The specimen has dark red manganvesuvianite crystals on the top side with sparkling luster. The specimen comes from the type locality, site of first discovery, of this species.
This specimen will be shipped mounted in its plastic display (perky) box. Non permanent mounting allows it to be easily removed.
A previous label from the Jewel Tunnel (Rock Currier) will accompany the specimen to its new owner.
