Original textured gatefold sleeve. Interior gatefold carries “Marketed by B&C Records Ltd., Soho Square” credit along with “Printed and made by the EJ Day Group” text. Red spine lettering has lightly faded due to mild sun bleaching. One faint crease near spine area only.

Description:

Original UK 1972 first pressing of Foxtrot by Genesis released on Charisma with the desirable large Mad Hatter labels and 1U/1U matrices.

Both the labels and gatefold sleeve carry the early B&C Records credits associated with the earliest first pressing issue.

Matrices include the classic Porky/Pecko deadwax etchings associated with the earliest UK pressings.

The vinyl visually grades VG++ with only a few very light hairlines visible under bright light. Playback remains particularly strong overall with clean clear audio throughout and only occasional faint background crackle present during quieter passages.

The original textured gatefold sleeve grades close to excellent overall with only light signs of careful handling/storage over the years. There is some mild sun fading to the red spine lettering and one faint crease near the spine area, though overall presentation remains especially strong.

Importantly, this copy still retains the rarer original Charisma company paper inner sleeve.

Carefully cleaned and fully play tested prior to listing. Vinyl also checked carefully for warping and dishing. This copy remains very flat.
