How does the animation work?
Four horse heads mounted inside the car bob in and out of the side windows as the wheels turn - no batteries or wiring needed. Just roll the car on regular track and the action begins.
Is this DCC compatible?
Yes - this is an unpowered freight car, so it runs on any DC or DCC layout with no electronics inside.
Will the couplers work with my Kadee fleet?
Yes. Bachmann's E-Z Mate Mark II knuckle couplers are body-mounted and fully compatible with Kadee #5, #58, and other standard HO knuckle couplers.
