Is this a kit or a ready-to-run car?
It's an easy-to-build snap-together plastic kit. Most modelers can finish it in under an hour with no glue required for the basic assembly. Couplers and trucks come pre-assembled.
Are the wheels metal?
The car comes with one-piece plastic wheelsets on non-magnetic axles. They roll well right out of the box; modelers who prefer metal wheels can easily swap in their preferred 33" replacement wheelsets.
Are the couplers Kadee compatible?
Yes. The included AccuMate® magnetic knuckle couplers are body-mounted and fully compatible with Kadee #5, #58, and other standard HO scale knuckle couplers.
