Offered for sale is an authentic Natural Bone King replacement piece from a Victorian Barleycorn style chess set.

Material: Genuine hand-turned bovine bone with a beautiful aged patina.

Design: Features the signature Barleycorn "pulpit" or barrel-shaped body with tiered concentric lathing and a multi-stage finial topped with a rounded monde, as shown.

Construction: Authentic two-piece threaded design. As demonstrated in IMG_6553.jpg, the piece unscrews at the pedestal. The original bone threads are intact and tighten securely.

Dimensions: Stands approximately 2.75 inches tall, as pictured against the scale in pic.

Condition: Excellent antique condition with a smooth, flat base. The bone has developed a soft, creamy yellow patina consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or significant surface wear.

A premier replacement piece for an antique collector or restorer.
