Japanese Samurai Armor Display Set – The Armor of the Magnificent General

This is a vintage Japanese samurai armor display set made in Japan in the 1980s by armor maker Takeyoshi.

The armor features thick iron plates with gold finishing, connected with red and orange silk odoshi lacing. The large dragon ornament on the kabuto helmet was carved from wood and finished with gold leaf.

This armor is intended for decorative display only and cannot be worn.
