RARE 1869 PATENT THOMAS BROWN BRASS RAILROAD LOCOMOTIVE WHISTLE. A rare offering in the form of a Thomas Brown brass whistle. Originally patented from 1869, this early design is seldom seen and a very unique looking whistle. A plastic water bottle is placed on the ground for a size comparison, but the whistle stands about 18" tall, 5 7/8" across the round portion, and about 5 1/4" in length along the inside part. A great piece for the early steam enthusiast or whistle collector!
