This "rock" was a fallen tree that lived in the Late Triassic period a CRAZY! 237 to 201 million years ago! The sediments containing the fossil logs are part of the widespread and colorful Chinle Formation. 

It measures a Nice! 5 1/2" or 13.7cm at its biggest or from opposing side to side and it is around 2.25" or 5.7cm Thick!
