About the Artist:
Born in Goshen, Indiana in 1918, James A. Manges served in the U.S. Army during World War II before a long career as an instrument maker at the C.G. Conn Musical Instrument Company. After retiring and moving to Wilcox, Arizona in 1980, he pursued his passion for painting until his death in 2008.
