• Warranty. SEIKO international 1-year manufacturer warranty applies. Servicing should be carried out at any authorized SEIKO service center worldwide.
• Compass bezel is decorative. The N/E/S/W markings on the bezel are reference markings, not a magnetic compass. To take a bearing, use the sun-and-hour-hand method against the rotating bezel.
• Wrist size. 38 mm is on the smaller side of modern men's watches but classic by historical standards. Sits well on wrists from 6.0" to 7.5".
• Battery. Standard silver-oxide cell — replaceable at any watchmaker. Estimated life ~3 years with normal chronograph use.
