• Obverse:
  Depicts the legislative chamber of Palazzo Madama, home of the Italian Senate. At the bottom is the official logo of the Senate of the Republic.
  The outer frame is inspired by decorative details from the chamber’s dome ceiling (Velario), with a blue ornamental design.
  At the top, the inscription “REPUBBLICA ITALIANA” appears within a thin band of the Italian tricolour.
  On both sides are the dates “8 MAGGIO 1948” and “8 MAGGIO 2023”, marking the 75-year anniversary.

• Reverse:
  Features a detail from the fresco “Allegory of the Chariot of the Sun” by Giovanni Paolo Pannini, located in the Sala Pannini of Palazzo Madama.
  Below are the founding date “8 MAGGIO 1948” and the constitutional phrase:
