The Seiko B137-4020 is a genuine talking watch — one of Seiko's most celebrated and technically ambitious achievements from the early 1980s. When activated, this watch speaks the time aloud through the distinctive speaker grille visible across the top of the case. Condition: This watch is in honest pre-owned condition showing genuine age-consistent wear throughout. The LCD is active and fully legible, and cycles through all modes cleanly, however the alarm mode shows some LCD ghosting, which is VERY common with the B137s

The top bezel face shows notable surface scratching and scuffing around the speaker grille and case top — clearly visible in the photos and video — consistent with decades of prior wear. The case sides and crown area also show light to moderate surface marks. The bracelet shows general age wear with some oxidation on the inner surfaces of the ladder links, while the overall structure remains solid and intact. The clasp opens and closes correctly.
