SANWA Electric Instrument has been making test gear in Tokyo since 1949 — the standard reference for Japanese engineering students, repair technicians, and field calibration teams. The PC7000 sits at the top of the PC7 series: 500,000 counts on DCV (the highest resolution available in any handheld DMM), True RMS AC measurement, an LPF for clean readings on VFD-driven motor circuits, dual-display showing AC+DC simultaneously, and K-type thermocouple temperature input from −50 ℃ to 1000 ℃. Built to IEC 61010 CAT III 600 V / CAT II 1000 V with a 30 kA high-breaking-capacity fuse. A serious instrument for serious work.

• Japanese-language instruction manual. The included manual is in Japanese. SANWA's global website provides English documentation for the PC7 series — search "SANWA PC7000 manual" on sanwa-meter.co.jp/english.
• Country of manufacture: Taiwan. SANWA is a Japanese brand designed and engineered in Tokyo, with production for the PC7 series carried out in Taiwan to SANWA's specifications. This is normal for SANWA's professional handheld line.
• PC connection requires optional accessories. Live data logging to a Windows PC requires the optional KB-USB7 optical-link USB cable and PC Link 7 software (sold separately). Free third-party software like TsDMMViewer also works with the KB-USB7 cable. The instrument operates fully standalone without these.
• Calibration certificate not included as standard. SANWA offers a separate calibration certificate package — please contact us if you require one with the order; we can quote separately.
• Soft carrying case not included. The PC7000 ships in a sturdy cardboard retail box (no soft case in standard packaging). The optional C-PC7 carrying case is available separately.
• Holster and K-type thermocouple included. The bundled accessories cover most use cases out of the box — test leads, shock-absorbing holster, and the K-250PC thermocouple temperature probe.
